Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of civil litigation experience as a licensed attorney. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, demonstrated skills in legal research and writing, and a commitment to outstanding client service. A background in personal injury or transportation law is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage files throughout all stages of litigation, ensuring timely progression and adherence to deadlines.
• Attend court appearances and depositions, representing clients professionally and effectively.
• Draft and prepare responses to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare case evaluations analyzing issues of liability and damages to guide client strategies.
• Review and summarize medical records to support litigation efforts.
• Draft timely evaluations and updates to clients on case analyses, strategies, progress and developments.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar is required; additional licensure in Indiana is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience as a licensed attorney.
• Strong research and writing skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
