Boutique firm located in downtown Chicago seeking an entry level attorney. The Firm is comprised of attorneys and tax professionals with a collaborative approach to representing high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs in a full range of estate planning and corporate matters. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in gift and estate tax planning; family business succession planning; drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney; trust and estate administration; and the desire to cultivate a practice centered around estate planning, corporate, and tax matters.  An accounting or financial background and/or an LLM in taxation is preferred but not required.

The position is an opportunity for growth and the development of a broad skill set. This is an ideal position for a candidate who wants to develop a sophisticated practice in a collegial environment with opportunities for mentorship.  Responsibilities will include, among other things, the following:

• Drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorneys.
• Gift and estate tax planning.
• Trust and estate administration.
• Entity formation and creation of corporate governance.
• Real estate closings.
• Tax compliance.
• Collaboration with clients, other attorneys, and professionals.
