Description

Neal & Leroy, LLC, one of the preeminent boutique real estate law firms in the country, is seeking an associate/partner attorney with real estate litigation experience. Experience in municipal finance is also desired but not required.   The ideal candidate will have broad real property litigation experience, including eminent domain,  real estate development, valuation and construction. Additionally the candidate will have hands-on litigation experience, including handling discovery and litigation discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, conducting witness interviews, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, managing cases, and participating in trial preparation. Municipal finance experience includes previous work as bond and underwriter’s counsel.

Specific skills required: A minimum of 7-10 years of litigation experience is preferred.  Demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise professional discretion and independent judgement. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present legal issues in a clear and concise manner. Requires superb attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
