Are you looking to grow your legal career in a collaborative, client-focused environment?
Califf & Harper, P.C., a well-established law firm located in Moline, Illinois, is seeking lateral attorneys (solos and small groups) and law graduates to join our team of nine attorneys. We serve clients throughout Illinois and Iowa, providing legal services in areas of law, including but not limited to:
Business Law, including Taxation and Mergers and Acquisitions
Civil Litigation
Employment and Labor Law
Estate Planning & Probate
Immigration Law
Public Sector Representation
Real Estate Law
Worker’s Compensation
Collections and creditors’ rights
(Will also consider adding attorneys who practice in other areas of law)
Our attorneys are licensed in both Illinois and Iowa, and we value attorneys who are already dual-licensed—or interested in becoming so.

- Salary for entry-level associates is between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience, licensure status, expected billable hours, etc.
- Benefits for entry level associates include contribution towards health insurance premiums, dental insurance plan, group life and disability insurance, retirement plan, bar dues, CLE reimbursement, and paid time off

Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
An active license to practice law in Illinois and Iowa (or a willingness and eligibility to seek licensure in both states)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, research, and writing skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A client-focused approach and commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
